Morning Mifford, congrats on your 2.5lbs weight loss. This far down the line to get a result like that is really something to be very proud of.   020

You must be noticing a huge difference now, 22 lbs is a massive amount of weight to lose.

I had the munchies last night, I kept telling myself that it was weigh day tonight and anything I crammed down my neck would show on the scales, did it stop me? Did it buggery.

I had a fun size pack of maltesers and a weightwatchers dark choc and orange bar. I really really really want that 1.5lb off this week to get my in the 11 stones again, but, I suppose 1lb would be ok.

I never measure myself, last time I did was over 2 years ago a few months before we went to Turkey. I'm going to try and fish them out, BUT, I think I weighed less than what I do now. I have gone down a notch on my belt though  sp06

Would you kindly share where you got your weight chart tracker thingy with us? I'd love something like that. I used to have one from the ticker factory for my pregnancy on a mums to be website, it was brill.

Again well done Mifford 9648

its an actual star chart rather than an internet one - I go on minimins.com and one of the girls on there had had it made for her by her boyfriend so she emailed it to me :)

I've tried to attach it  but the file is too large apparently - if you PM me an email address I'll send it to you instead.

The last 7lbs I can really see the difference from where I started and I'm now starting to get back into all my old clothes again.  That makes a huge difference as I have stuff to wear now!!  I've done a major clear out of my wardrobe so anything that I don't think does me any favours or that I don't feel 100% confident in has gone.  I've actually started caring about what I look like again as well - I know exactly how I look at this size as I have photos from when I was at this level before so that gives me some confidence as well.  I know that I would like to be smaller but at the same time if I saw me walking down the street I wouldn't be thinking "fat old cow" - plus now it is finally coming off in chunks instead of the 1/2lb battle each week that I had to fight so hard for its got me a LOT more motivated again and I can actually see me getting down to the levels I want to reach.  Another 7lbs and I know I can get back in my Tommy Hilfiger jeans and stuff like that helps a lot.

Although its still got to be said - its a hell of a lot easier sticking with it and being motivated and it coming off when my med levels seem to be more settled!!

Oh and I wouldn't worry about the maltesers and WW bar - I view that as a positive if I stick to a smaller amount of chocolate like that as before if I had a craving and binge it sure as hell wouldn't have been just one bar and a fun size maltesers pack!!!!!  Just keep in mind that if you keep the exercise up and sticking within your points the weight WILL come off - if its not this week it will be the week after and you'll still be celebrating :)

Hi Everyone

Wow Mifford, 22lbs down is ab fab! You really must be seeing the difference now! You should feel proud of yourself.

Yorky, as you are getting more exercise I'm sure that you will see the benefit soon. Good luck with the weigh in!

I've been really good with food this week. Although the exercise not so good. I did have a walk at the weekend but it was too muggy to walk for long. I find it really difficult to breathe when its that muggy, I feel a tightening in my chest and throat. Almost like being hypo but I'm not.

Looking forward to weighing myself on Friday, but at the moment I don't feel like I've lost anymore. We will just have to see.

Keep up the good work ladies,

Love Kath xx

Yorky that's fantastic - well done  020

It is odd how that works - I seem to lose more the weeks I let myself snack on stuff like curly wurlies or WW bars.  Maybe there's something in this chocolate diet after all .....

star chart on its way ;)

wahoooooooooooooo - I have a pair of "parachute pants" that I got in a sale last year that have been sitting at the back of my wardrobe as the zip is knackered (hence sale) and I couldn't undo them, or if I do couldn't do them back up.  Well I can now get into them without having to undo the zip thanks to the elasticated back so I have yet another new item of clothing to add to my growing collection of things I can wear  xxb!x

Oh but unfortunately I don't have any shoes that go with them so I'm going to have to go shopping this morning.  I don't want to obviously but what can I do?  sp06

Hey, you can never have enough shoes!

Lost another 2lbs this week! Can't quite believe it. It just shows how certain food can affect your weight! I'm really chuffed :)

Just made some red pepper soup from WW recipe and its heavenly!

I'm finding the on-line WW really good Yorky. Its good to keep track of the points but I find it hard to get up to 29 on a daily basis! But the weight is coming off so that's great.

Have a great weekend ladies,

well done Kath that's awesome  020

Interesting that all of us struggling with weight loss also all struggled with getting our points up with WW.  There does seem to be something in the theory that those of us with thyroid don't eat enough  0006

My day on the other hand - well ....

Its a good day when you discover that you can now wear your trousers with the broken/stuck zip because you've lost enough weight to be able to put them on without needing to undo it. Its less of a good day when said zip decides to totally break and ping bits across the changing room of Next & you discover that you've lost too much weight to hold said trousers up without said zip - doh!
 :8)

I may have actually broken a rib laughing while me and 2 assistants tried to rescue the bit that wasn't broken enough to be able to hold them up - that'll teach me not to check why the zip isn't working then!

Lol, what a laugh! Must have been slightly embarassing though!

Forgot to mention that I had to tighten my belt on the next hole this am! Yippee!

all I can say is thank god it did it in the changing room rather than as I got out the car or similar  #:-S

The poor girl working there looked like she didn't know whether to laugh or not when I asked her if she had a safety pin - she obviously didn't want to be unprofessional .. up until the point that I started crying with laughter.  Luckily it clearly wasn't that the zip had gone because they didn't fit or I'd have been a bit more embarrased I think - it was very clear that it was actually because the metal had broken and nothing to do with me wearing them thankfully  #:-S

And Yay for doing up another notch on your belt.

Congrats on your weight loss Kath, it really feels amazing doesn't it?  flow10

I hope you hadn't already bought the shoes to go with your "broken" trousers Mifford. lol

I'm feeling fat and bloated today, had a chinese last night. I always feel lousy the day after, but, it's not very often I'm offered a night off cooking  sp012 and the gang opted for chinese. Who am I to disagree..

Might just have chicken and sweetcorn soup next time and have a nice wholemeal roll with it.

Making Mexican pan fry (weightwatcher recipe) tonight, but, instead of mince beef using minced Turkey thigh. Can't wait, as we really enjoyed it last week.

8 PP's with beef 6 with Turkey,,, yum yum yum.

Have a great low fat weekend ladies and gents!!!!

Hello Ladies and a big congrats ww dance for you all !*565 9648

You are all doing so well and are all getting so skinny!! Well I thought I posted the other day but obviously in my thyroid haze I couldn't have posted it, have been having a really rough time, but thankfully am at last out of the worst thyroid crash I have had in over a year and am ready to get back on track. I have been doing really well the last few days even using the treadmill  walk1 and not only walking but doing a one minute run and two minute walk then one minute run etc etc Last year when I was smoking 20 seconds had me gasping for breath so I'm really proud of my increased cardio endurance, it may only be minute still but it's on the right track.

I have been watching the Biggest loser on sky and am now officially in love with Bob Harper!!

Am going to subscribe to ww online and give this new version a go as I'm not doing great with sw just can't get into it. I have lost 5 pound since I got back from holiday mainly because I couldn't get up, going to the bathroom deserved a gold medal  :-j But now I want to increase the running, only slowly but tortoise and the hare and yes I run as slow as a tortoise but it's still running!!

Yorky thank you for asking after me you really are a gem  flow10 big hugs xxx

Hope you all have a great weekend and Mifford keep your trousers up  #:-S

Luv n hugs
Jeannie xxx

Oh no - I was thinking of you yesterday with the whole trouser thing and was going to pm you to see where you'd gone but my day went belly up - long story that I won't go into right now - and I didn't get a chance to do it.

Hope you are feeling better now and getting back on your feet - it totally sucks to be feeling that ill  ghus  Any idea what sparked it or just one of those things where your body decides that you are the enemy and it will make you pay?

Getting going on the running is fantastic though - one minute tortoise running is a minute more than I do I can tell you!!  I keep thinking about starting exercise and they do say its the thought that counts right?  #:-S

With any luck the WW stuff will work for you and help - I do agree that slimming world just didn't seem the right fit for you so with any luck this one will fit your lifestyle a bit better :)

Oh and welcome back - we've missed you!!!  hug3
